Even your smaller above-ground pool that the kids swim in needs some kind of warmth and the El Nino Solar Pool Heating Kit is the economical and environmentally friendly way to do it. El Nino is easy to install and connects to your existing circulation pump. Through its unique x-channel system the El Nino solar collectors give high thermal efficiency ratings(n0 = 80.7 %) and very quick heat response times. The high ratings are due to: Large, active area of absorption Dynamic water flow inside the collector Low volume of water El Niño Basic Kit The El Niño is the perfect solar collector for small-medium aboveground pools and can easily be integrated with the existing pool pump. It includes all the necessary components to connect your collector to your pool. The El Nino Solar Pool Heating Kit contains 2 large solar collectors measuring about 1.8 sq.m each, all you need is a few metres of garden hose and you can heat an above ground pool up to 7sq.m. The surface area of solar collectors should match 50% or greater of your pool surface area to ensure that the water will reach a pleasant temperature. As a guide, one pack is suitable for heating a 10 foot intex (3m diameter) or bestway metal frame or inflatable ring pool. Note: Garden hose 12mm (1/2") is needed to connect the solar collector to the pool. Garden hose is not included . Intended for use with existing pool pump. Pump not included. Product Benefits . "Great idea, but takes up a bit of space!"

"Connectors don't work. We ended up using hose connectors and silicon. Burns grass completely so we have had to build something to put it on. In saying that it heats up the pool really well. Just needs a better connecting system!!!!!!"
