NATURE 2 SPA STICKS Nature 2 is the natural Mineral Purifier for pools and spas. In a spa Nature 2 Spa Sticks act like a permanent algaecide using trace elements of silver and copper to kill bacteria and algae more effectively than chlorine or bromine alone. Reduced bromine reduces stinging eyes, bleached hair and chemical odors. Specifications: Capacity: for spas up to 3,500 Litres Run time: minimum 4 hours daily Flow rate: works with all spa flow rates Installation: Drops into the core of most spa filters, works with suction-side and pressure-side filters It's very simple to change to Natures2. Nature2 Spa Stick Instructions: Changing from another Chemical- If you are changing from another product (i.e. Bromine) to Nature2 your spa should be drained, wiped out and the filters cleaned. Filling your Spa When filling your spa for the first time place the Nature2 canister in the centre hole of your cartridge once the spa is filled. Depending on the size of your spa filter you made need to use the extension tails supplied. For those spas with skimmer boxes, place the cartridge in the leaf basket. If you cannot place the Nature2 cartridge in either of the above locations find a spot to either tie or position the Nature2 where it is in the main flow of the water at all times. Check the pH and add 1 tablespoon of Spa Shock and 1 tablespoon of a Lithium based chlorine. Regular Use If your spa is used more than 4 times per week it is recommended to add 1 tablespoon of Spa Shock after each use. If the spa is used less frequently add ½ tablespoon of spa shock weekly. The APVMA recommends maintaining a permanent chlorine level in the water. Spa Shock will actually generate a small chlorine residual due to it’s interactions with tap water in your spa. Test the chlorine level and if low add a small dose of lithium as required. Cartridge filters need hosing weekly. If they do not clean easily use a cartridge cleaner and also try using the new Water Wand. Replacement Your Nature 2 canister needs to be replaced every four months. It is recommended that your spa be drained, wiped out with a damp cloth and refilled. Follow the initial startup instructions. Important Notes *Long hair should be tied back and washed when using spas, and swimming costumes rinsed in warm water. Conditioners, fabric softeners, shampoo, sunscreens are the major causes of cloudy or incorrectly balanced water. *pH must be kept between 7.2 and 7.6 to avoid damage to heaters!! (This is true for any heater element).
