For any good pasta dish start by sauteeing garlic, onion, anchovies and chilli in extra virgin olive oil. The fish flavour of the anchovies will cook out and you are left with the perfect base to create any flavour of pasta sauce.
No pizza is complete without the famous anchovy. Create the perfect side to a pasta dish by laying strips of red peppers and anchovies in a criss-cross pattern onto a rectangular piece of turkish bread that has been spread with tomato tapenade. Scatter some pitted Kalamata olives and crumbled feta and bake until warm (or until base is crispy if desired). Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
