The Ellipse Frame Pools combine the best design elements of Intex's Easy Set™ pools and Metal Frame pools. The Ellipse Frame Pools are the perfect blend of function and value! The rectangular shape is ideal for pool games such as volleyball as well as excercise activities such as lap swimming. The rectangular shape is also great for those homeowners with less back yard space. This pool is a great value with its versatility and durability. With proper care an Ellipse Frame Pool will provide years of family enjoyment. Each 24' x 12' x 48" Oval Pool "Package" includes: (1) 1500 gallon per hour water filter pump (120 volt) for water filtration and circulation. Includes a reusable filter cartridge and this pump is warrantied by the manufacturer (see below for details). This water filtration pump uses Intex type "A" filter cartridges (product #59900) (1) Automatic Surface Skimmer that works in conjunction with the water filtration pump. Removes leaves and other floating debris automatically so far less floating debris will end up on your pool's floor (1) Ground Cloth/Pool Mat (1) Fitted Pool Cover (1) 48 inch "A" frame pool platform ladder for easy pool entry and exit. Intex Oval Frame Ellipse Pools are constructed with SUPER-TOUGH™ heavy guage material and the Ellipse Pools' SUPER-TOUGH™ sidewalls are triple strong. The sidewalls are made with 3 separate layers of material for extra strength and durability - two outer layers of heavy-gauge pvc laminated to an inner layer of polyester mesh for extra reinforcement. The quality and design of this material results in extra strength and extreme durability. This reinforced PVC plastic is much thicker than comparable above ground pools.
SUPER-TOUGH™ Plastic: A high molecular PVC plastic that is unaffected by gasoline, oil and salt water. It is highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact and sunlught. It also allows more air pressure for rigidity while maintaining the PVC material's natural flexibility

"This has beena brilliant buy for our family. It is long enough to actually swim in and for the family to play ball games or relax on a pool lounge. This is our 3rd summer with this pool - taking it down and putting it back up each summer. We got our first little hole this week putting it back up which was easily fixed with vinyl repair. I need another cover this year and am trying to buy in som filter cartridges for the long hot summer...and not enough aussie stores have \'intex\' stock. I notice swim in does though.The salt water chlorinator and pump is absolutely fantastic and cheap and easy to run - you need to buy filter size b cartridges every 4 weeks or so and hose them clean in between during heavy use. For the price...this is a great family fun pool (especially if you dont want to pay 30K in an inground pool)."
