Now, daily pool maintenance is carefree because both systems are controlled with one 24-hour auto timer. All hoses and clamps needed to install the Intex Saltwater System and Sand Pump to your pool are included. Sand is not included.

Installation is easy, just add sand, hook-up the hoses, plug it in and go. The Krystal Clear Saltwater System eliminates the need to buy or handle hazardous packaged chlorine! No more harsh chemicals that cause burning eyes, faded clothes, and faded pool liners. So how does the Saltwater Systems work?

The Krystal Clear Saltwater System combines a unique two-stage technology to sanitize pool water. First, natural swimmer-safe chlorine is produced when environmentally friendly, natural salt is added to pool water and passes through a titanium coated electrolytic cell during the filtration process.

The result is soft, fresh, clean water without the potential harsh side effects of packaged pool chemicals. Second, with the copper ionization feature, highly active disinfectant ions are released which create a potent biocide and attack algae more aggressively than chlorine or other packaged pool chemicals.

The Intex 16in Sand Filter Pump uses a powerful .95 hp motor that pumps 2,650 gallons of water per hour. Sand filters have long been recognized by pool owners as one of the most desirable methods to keep pool water clear and sparkling.
